World Environment Education Day
The Primary School “Arsenije Loma” from Rudnik has recently joined the International Program ”Eco-Schools”, which under the auspices of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Serbia, has been supported by the UN Environment Program, United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, and the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of Serbia.
The company Rudnik is part of the Eco Board of the school as support to different ecological activities in which the school shall take part through the International Project ”Eco-Schools”.
Environment Education Day, the school “Arsenije Loma” held a lecture and presentation of the International Program ”Eco-Schools”, about the importance of inclusion of the school in the program, acquiring the status and the Green Flag and activities of the school through ecological activities. The guest lecturer on with the topic “Sustainable Development and Agenda 21” was Nevena Nenadović, an environment engineer from the company Rudnik.
