Rudnik company celebrated August 6th – Miners’ Day

On the occasion of the celebration of the Miners’ Day, on August 4th, an exhibition “Mining on Rudnik throughout Prehistory, Classical Period and Middle Ages” was organised at the gallery of the Cultural Centre “Vojislav Ilic”.

On August 6th, on the Miners’ Day and the Open Doors Day, the company gates were open to all employees with their families and to retired employees of Rudnik company. Traditionally, jubilee awards were awarded for 10, 20, 30 and 40 years of service, and in the sports fields of the Rudnik colony, the final sports competitions were organised during the day. The event ended with a cooking competition for the “Best Mining Pot” and the announcement of the winner.
