Management of companies and flotation Rudnik would like to thank all the employees for their dedication, commitment and engagement during the state of emergency. The company has been successfully overcome severe caused by heavy rains.

24 hour duty, use of all the necessary measures and procedures for the safety of workers and the tailings dam system successfully controlled all occurrences of heavy rainfall and a significant increase in the level of underground water in the pit and the tailings. Implementation of planned technical security procedures in all parts of the work process controlled all events that threatened to jeopardize the overall safety of the employees and the local community.

Regular contacts, collecting and exchanging relevant information on the state of natural disaster with the Local crisis center, a Regional center for notification and alerting in the City of Cacak according to the instructions of the police station in municipality Gornji Milanovac on the security situation on the highways and local roads, assistance and provision of the necessary transportation made it possible to safely organize the arrival and departure of employees and ensure smooth continuity of production and control of the tailings dam in regular and safe mode, without risk to employee(s) and the local community.

Special thanks to all the citizens of the settlements downstream of the tailings dam and the citizens of the municipality of Gornji Milanovac, who despite rumors of improper and arbitrary interpretations (about the state of the tailings dam), remained calm and reasonable and have confidence in a safe and modern technical security systems and monitoring of the tailings dam. Dams and tailing in the mines are permanently safe and secure facility with state of the art systems to control and monitor,which was proved by these catastrophic natural disaster.
