First Nordic-Serbian Mining Academy in East-Central Europe
Organized by the Ministry of Mining and Energy of the Republic of Serbia and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia and in cooperation with the Embassy of the Kingdom of Sweden, the Swedish Agency for the Promotion of Exports, and the Finnish Promotion Board, the first Nordic-Serbian Mining Academy in East-Central Europe was held – SUPER MINES, aimed at exchanging the best international experiences.
The priority topics of the gathering were the new mining laws in the Republic of Serbia, increased productivity, efficiency and safety, example of the mining law in Sweden and the best international practice, cooperation of the private and state sector, reliability of technology and decrease of operating costs…
As part of the presentation entitled ”How Nordic and Serbian Mining Experts Are Already Cooperating on Super Mines – Atlas Copco and the mine Rudnik”, the company Rudnik was presented as a leader and regional visionary in implementing sustainable and modern solutions and specific demands related to increasing safety around mines.
