Exhibition “Mining on Mt Rudnik throughout Centuries“

An exhibition entitled “Mining on Mt Rudnik throughout Centuries”, was opened in the Cultural Hall on Mt Rudnik on 5 August, on the occasion of a traditional celebration of the Miners’ Day. The exhibition was organized by the Rudnik company, the Gornji Milanovac Cultural Centre and the Museum of the Rudnik-Takovo Region.

The exhibits include the artefacts from the archaeological collection of the Museum of the Rudnik-Takovo Region, art photographs by  Saša Savović, as well as minerals, crystals and mining artefacts from the private collection of Momčilo Paunović, which date from pre-historic times to this very day.  The guest of the evening was Bora Dugić, a master of the traditional Serbian flute, accompanied by Boban Prodanović on the accordion.  The exhibition lasts until 15 September.
