Exhibition of photographs of Vitezslav Kneifl, an Austro-Hungarian officer
On June 20, , in the Cultural Centre on Rudnik, in the organization of the Gornji Milanovac Cultural Centre, there was a presentation of an exhibition of photographs of Vitezslav Kneifl, an Austro-Hungarian officer of Czech nationality, who was the commander of the Rudnik Kačerski district in 1917 and 1918.
The exhibits include some thirty photos documenting the everyday life on Rudnik at the time. The exhibition opening ceremony was attended, on behalf of the Czech Embassy in Belgrade, by colonel Josef Vojtek, a defence envoy of the Czech Republic, Darko Vukobratović, the director of company Contango and Dana Kalčnova and Jana Fajtova, descendants of the honourable captain Kneifl.
