Awards for best drawings presented on the occasion of June 5, World Environment Day
On the occasion of June 5, World Environment Day, the „Vojislav Ilić“ Cultural Centre in Rudnik hosted an exhibition of drawings by senior pupils of the “Arsenije Loma” Primary School (from 5th to 8th form). Among the selected 30 works, a professional jury, namely the jury president Branko Dimitrijević Čile, a graduate artist, and members Slobodanka Sekana Marjanović, an artist specializing in icon painting, and Radoš Gačić Gačo, an art historian, awarded the three best works and commended another one. Managing Director Aco Ilić presented the awards.
The first prize went to Nikolina Gajić, 7th form, for her work entitled The Sound of Nature, the second went to Nikolina Nešović, 7th form, for her work entitled A Sick Tree, and the third went to Silvija Marković, 8th form, for her work entitled Mother Nature. The work that was commended was the one created by Teodor Baltić, 6th form, entitled The Golden Lake. The school principal, Dragana Miletić, and the pupils visited the exhibition and the children’s parents attended the award presentation ceremony. The exhibition is open until June 12.
